The 30 Year Tates Creek Class Reunion was held on Saturday, October 14th, 2006, at the Campbell House Inn in Lexington, KY. Approximately 240+ guests were in attendance including 150 of our classmates. We were honored to have Principal Warren Featherston, Coach Roy Walton, Coach Phil Greer, & many classmates from other years in attendance! Our own Thomas Mason came from Florida to provide the live entertainment for the evening. An array of music from all eras was performed by Mason while classmates hit the dance floor!
Poster size pages of our senior class pictures adorned the walls of the reception area. Upon registration, senior picture nametags were given to be worn by all who had preregistered. A hot & cold Hors d'oeurves buffet was set up by the pool area consisting of coconut shrimp, chicken brochettes, scallops wrapped in bacon, potato skins, cheese & vegetable trays with various dips

• Mike Courtney (Afghanistan)
• Phil Davis (Alaska)...Phil could not be with us, he has received notification that he will be deployed to Iraq in March
& had military obligations.
Greatest Love Story
• Brian & Rebecca Simmons Rickerd (married two years ago after reuniting 28 years later)
• Matt & Anne Mabry McMahan who "fell in love in high school & stayed in love 30 years later"

Special recognition was given to:
• Sandi Memmer for her creative work on the website
• Humzey Yessin for arranging the golf outing & intial hotel arrangements
• Mary Riggs for overseeing reunion tasks
• Frazer LeBus (Mary Riggs husband) for putting up with Mary during the reunion planning
• Kevin Porter for placing our entire yearbook online
• Thomas Mason for volunteering & donating his talent & entertainment
• David Humphrey for creating posters, mailings, etc.

Cathy awarded each with a Tates Creek momento such as socks, t shirts, & hats.

The night was filled with laughter, memories, and a lot of GRAY hair!! A quote from one classmate: "if you didn't have a blast, it was your own fault"!

Sally Wilson was polling classmates to see if we should plan another reunion in 5 or 10 years...the concensus was overwhelmingly 5 years.....SO MARK YOUR CALENDARS....
35 YEAR REUNION IN 2011!!!! HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!!!
